Golf Tournament Raising Money For Sleep Monitors

This year’s Hit it for Health golf tournament is right around the corner. The Health Services Foundation of the South Shore is looking for a few more teams to help make the event a success. This year, the foundation is hoping to raise $30,000 to purchase four sleep monitors. Development officer Bernadette Jordan says it’s a timely fundraiser. She says, “We have a list at the hospital of critical equipment that we require and they are very, very close to the top of the list. So, these are things that we would need quite desperately right now.” The 16th annual golf tournament will be held July 3 at Osprey Ridge. People or teams interested in registering should contact the Health Services Foundation.
