If you’re looking for a meaningful Mother’s Day gift, why not help out a women’s centre? Second Story Women’s Centre in Lunenburg is hosting their annual Mother’s Day jewelry sale tomorrow at Bridgewater mall. All jewellery is donated by women in the community with all proceeds going into the Centre’s programming. Second Story’s Joanne Jefferson says the fundraiser raises as much as $1,000.
Jewelry can still be donated on the date of the sale, which will happen from 10 until 3. Prices range from 50 cents to 5 dollars.
