A Barrington man who is charged with assault of an infant will appear in court in Shelburne today. Twenty-four year-old Adam Harold Hogg is expected to enter a plea to the charges today. Last November, Mounties were called to the Roseway Hospital in Shelburne after medical staff reported a 23 day-old baby boy had suffered serious injuries. Hogg was arrested in relation to the assault late last month. He is charged with aggravated assault, failing to provide the necessities of life and criminal negligence causing death.
