Hinchinbrook, Bluenose Get TV Time

Two films focused on aspects of Lunenburg County have received money to help their projects.

‘Bluenose: The Legend Lives’ was given $80,515 through the Nova Scotia Film and Television Production Incentive Fund.

The documentary features a mix of historical context, story-telling, visuals and music from Bruce Guthro, Joel Plaskett, and Old Man Luedecke.

It will air next month.

The other film tells the story of Hinchinbrook Farm in Blockhouse and received $145,468.

It highlights 62 year-old disabled maverick Patty McGill and special needs children who come to her farm for her unconventional brand of horse therapy.

Filming begins next month and will air on television in the winter of 2017.
