People in Shelburne will be without an ER for most of today.
The Nova Scotia Health Authority says the emergency department at Roseway Hospital will close at 8 a.m this morning and re-open at 7 p.m tonight.
It is due to a lack of available doctors.
People with an emergency should dial 911 or visit the nearest hospital.
