Jordan Officially Sworn-In As Member Of Parliament

Bernadette Jordan is now officially the member of parliament for South Shore – St. Margaret’s.

The West Dublin resident was sworn-in today in Ottawa.

She was joined by her husband, three children and her sister for the special occasion.

Jordan says it was a quick ceremony.

“You actually have to swear allegiance to the Crown, and then you sign a pledge, they give you your book of policies as well as your MP pin and that’s pretty much it.”

Jordan plans to take part in Remembrance Day ceremonies tomorrow in the riding.

She’s due back in Ottawa on December 1.
