People in Bridgewater should notice a difference in traffic by the weekend.
Spokesperson for the Department of Transportation, Brian Taylor, says the old bridge in town should be re-opened by 5 p.m Friday.
Taylor says the latest work to replace sections of damaged steel decking went well and is on track to finish on time.
The same work was completed on the bridge in June.
The total cost is roughly $110,000.
