The town of Mahone Bay is getting a flag.
Councillor Penny Carver suggested the idea after noticing they had no representation at a recent regional gathering.
She says a flag is more than a piece of fabric.
“They evoke feelings about place, people, community,” she says, “and I think those things are important.”
The flag will feature the new Mahone Bay logo.
No word yet on when the flag will be unveiled.
