There are three homicides still under investigation in Lunenburg County.
30 years ago, Jack and Micheline Hulme were killed in a suspicious housefire in Dayspring.
And Stephen Hall disappeared in 1996. His body was discovered 8 months later in the Chester area.
RCMP spokesperson, Mark Skinner said tapping into people’s memories decades later makes solving these crimes difficult. However, tips from the public, he added, can be the key to solving a case.
“Sometimes the smallest detail can help link up one picture to another and really bring fulfillment or closure to a case,” said Skinner
Both cases fall under the Major Unsolved Crimes program which offers rewards of up to 150-thousand dollars.
