The president of Adams and Knickle in Lunenburg is being recognized with a prestigious award.
Jane Ritcey Moore is one of 19 women receiving the Progress Club’s Women of Excellence this year.
It honours women who have made contributions to their professions, including arts and culture, education and research and innovation.
She says it’s a great honour to be considered for the award.
Ritcey Moore was nominated as an innovator and entrepreneur.
A ceremony will be held Wednesday in Halifax.
