The emergency department at Shelburne’s Roseway Hospital will be closed on the civic holiday.
In a news release, the Nova Scotia Health Authority cites physician availability as the reason for the closure on Monday from 6am to 8pm.
In the case of an emergency people are asked to call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department.
For non-emergency health advice from a registered nurse, please call 811.
