The festive spirit is alive and well in Shelburne.
This year’s Shelburne Celebrates Christmas festival is underway.
It continues this evening with the Christmas tree lighting and the arrival of Santa.
It happens at 6:30 p.m on the corner of King and Water Streets.
There will also be craft fairs on Saturday at the Fire Hall and Community College.
The parade of lights is planned for Saturday evening, starting on Minto Street and ending at the Shelburne Mall.
On Sunday, people can tour Christmas Houses from 1-4 p.m.
