Most people believe high-speed internet should be considered an essential service.
In our online poll 82% of you said yes.
Vicki MacDonald of Bridgewater agreed on Facebook.
She says: “Absolutely! High speed internet is infrastructure that needs to be built if we are to move into the future as a growing thriving economy.”
Justin Rafuse Robar, also from Bridgewater is with the 18% who disagree.
He says: “There is a staunch difference between an essential service and a principal luxury.”
He goes on to say: ” At the end of the day, you can absolutely live and thrive without high-speed internet.”
