UARB To Adjust Price Of Gas At Midnight

The price of gas will be adjusted once again at midnight tonight.

The Nova Scotia Utility and Review Board says this is due to significant shifts in the market price of gasoline.

This will be the first time the province has used the ‘interrupter clause’ for gas in two years.

Executive Director of the Nova Scotia Utility and Review Board Paul Allen says he can’t comment on the direction of the price.

However, Gasbuddy.com’s Dan McTeague told us yesterday to expect further increases at the pumps for the month of September.

This is due to the damage that Hurricane Harvey did to oil refineries in Texas.

Gas prices rose over seven cents in Nova Scotia last night.
