Two Men Charged After Cocaine Found on Vessel

Two men are in custody after a massive drug seizure in Lunenburg County.
Jacques John Grenier and Luc Chevrefils were arrested Monday after Canada Border Services and the RCMP found over 270kg of cocaine on a vessel.
Sixty-eight year-old Grenier of Hubbards was arrested at the scene and charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking, importation of a controlled substance and conspiracy to import a controlled substance.
Chevrefils was found at a hotel in Dartmouth.
The 59-year-old Montreal native has been charged with possession for the purposing of trafficking and conspiracy to import a controlled substance.
A vehicle was seized as part of the investigation.
The two men appeared in court this morning.
