The Salvation Army and our two radio stations are trying to make it a Christmas to remember for children in need.
The CKBW/Country 100.7 Christmas toy drive is underway at the Canadian Tire parking lot in Cookville.
Major Wilson Sutton says it’s a worthy cause.
“Funds that we raise are basically limited, so it helps us to be able to give more to some of those families who may not have a gift or maybe someone may only have a gift or two.”
People can drop off a new, unwrapped toy and the Salvation Army will deliver them to families.
The toy drive wraps up around 5 p.m.
