It was an up and down year for the Great Haul-A-Day food drive in Bridgewater.
Monetary donations jumped this year to $1,345 from $1,200.
However, 6,000 pounds of food was donated, down from over 7,800.
This was the seventh year for the event.
It was held Saturday and was hosted by Bridgewater Police, Lunenburg county RCMP and Nova Scotia paramedics.
All proceeds will go to the Bridgewater Inter-church food bank.
