The Department of Natural Resources says two of the three fires in Queens and Annapolis counties have been contained and crews continue to work on them.
The fire in Maitland Bridge is the latest to be contained after it was listed out of control for more than 48 hours.
DNR is now reporting the fire consuming 21 hectares of forest after initially estimating 25.

Meanwhile, the fire at Seven Mile Lake has grown to approximately 140 hectares.
Operation Manager Jim Rudderham says weather conditions continue to be challenging.
“The woods are so dry in the western end of the province. The fire behaviour is really bad right now.”

Trunk 8 near Maitland Bridge, between Virginia Road and Kejimkujik National Park, is closed.
From the south, local traffic is being diverted to Mersey River Lodge while from the north, they’re being sent through View Lake.
People are asked to find an alternate route around the closure.
A fire is Greenfield was contained early Saturday morning.
Greenfield firefighters have brought it under control and are now part of more than a dozen fire departments helping with the Maitland Bridge and Seven Mile fires.
