It’s curry in a hurry in Bridgewater.
The popular Curry Express Indian takeout is moving and expanding.
They hope to open at their new location, about a block away at 99 Aberdeen Road, during the first week of September.
Owner Rajesh Popat says the turn-around has been fast but the change has been a long time coming.
“Very soon, very quickly,” he says. “Our customers have been asking for a dining place. They want to sit down and enjoy their meal nice and hot, and we’re going to be providing that to them.”
The new space is three times bigger than his current location.
He says the expansion will come with a hiring spree.
Popat says he plans to double his staff over the next month.
