A Lunenburg County man has been identified as the victim of a homicide in Eastern Passage.
21-year-old Jamie Lee Bishop was shot and killed while walking with a female companion on Hornes Rd. at around 12:45am Monday, June 18th, 2018.
“In this case here, it is something that by going out with his name that it will assist us with solving this horrific crime,” says Corporal Dal Hutchinson, of the Halifax District RCMP Detachment.
Investigators are looking for the suspect vehicle involved in the brazen shooting described as a dark 4-door Chevrolet car.
“We’re hoping that someone out there knows what vehicle we’re referring to and will contact police, or, they will reach out to us through Crime Stoppers,” adds Cpl. Hutchinson.
The vehicle was last seen from Hornes Rd. onto Cow Bay Rd. and police are appealing to the public with any information to please contact the Homicide Unit of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division at (902) 490-5333 or Nova Scotia Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
