The Nature Conservancy of Canada is continuing its project studying wildlife in a corridor along the Chignecto-Isthmus, between Nova Scotia and New Brunswick.
Spokesperson Andrew Holland says they’ve installed cameras and are observing the animals.
“We want to get a better handle on where animals are moving and what are they doing, there’s been a series of cameras installed, we hope to get some pretty good images by Spring,” says Holland.
He says they can track the endangered moose population.
There are less than a thousand in Nova Scotia.
They are also monitoring Canadian Lynx, bobcat, bear, deer and ducks.
