N.S. Doctors to Sit Down with Federal and Provincial Government Saturday

Nova Scotia Doctors are set to sit down at the table with elected officials this weekend.

They’ll be discussing how the proposed federal tax changes will affect patient care.

Approximately 75 percent of Nova Scotia’s physicians are incorporated and will experience the effects of the changes.

Officials say the changes will cause physicans to leave the province and make it difficult to attract them to Nova Scotia in the first placed.

The meeting will be held on Saturday.
