Upgrades In The Works For Bridgewater’s Outdoor Pool

Swimming season is still months away but the outdoor pool in Bridgewater is getting summer ready.

Two transformers have been replaced and repairs have been made to the facility’s roof.

Sandy Mair-Dodman, Director of Parks and Recreation, says the pool is an asset for the community.

“It’s full of life and energy in the Summer,” she says, “and it provides just an amazing way for people to have fun, cool down, and enjoy the outdoors.”

She says it’s also an opportunity for families that are having financial difficulties.

A 100-thousand dollar investment last summer has covered the operating costs until at least 2020.
