Alternative School Could Be Coming To Bridgewater

A school for kids struggling with learning disabilities could be coming to the South Shore.

Bridgeway Academy is exploring the idea of opening a new campus in Bridgewater.

Founder Lucinda Lowe says they have two main concerns.

“One is to find an appropriate space within the community,” she says, “and the other part is making sure that there’s a demand that would make it feasible.”

Lowe says a town councillor invited them to talk about what they could offer students.

She says so far the response has been positive.
