Drivers crossing the Confederation Bridge will pay higher tolls starting on New Years Day.
Strait Crossing Limited has announced two-axle vehicles will pay another 50 cents to $46 while motorcycles will pay $18.50 or a jump of 25 cents.
Officials say the increase is an adjustment for inflation.
Meantime, Prince Edward Island Senator Percy Downe is urging the P.E.I. legislature to pass a resolution which would exempt Islanders from paying bridge tolls.
