Resident Appealing Construction Of New Home Hardware

A local resident is appealing the construction of a new, large Home Hardware in Bridgewater.

Gow’s Home Hardware and Gow’s Furniture Stores are set to become one large store by 2019 at a new location on Dominion Street.

The Town of Bridgewater gave site plan approval but requires a two week appeal period.

At nearly the end of the appeal period, the town received an appeal from a resident who has concerns with the construction.

A public special council meeting is now planned for August 7 at 7 pm to allow the resident to address their concerns.

Gow’s will also have a chance to speak again.

From there council will decide whether to uphold their site plan approval or dismiss it.
