Team Nova Scotia Triumphant at 2018 Special Olympic Nationals

The 2018 Canada Special Olympics Summer Games wrapped up in Antigonish over the weekend and the results were impressive.

Team Nova Scotia walked away with a total of 135 medals following the four day competition.

To break it all down, that’s a total of 48 Gold Medals, 42 Silver and 44 Bronze.

More than 900 athletes from right across Canada were in Nova Scotia to part in the annual national games.

Bronze Medal, 100m

Team Nova Scotia also beat Team New Brunswick for the Gold Medal in Team Softball.
