Students Win Tickets To World Sledge Hockey Challenge

Two classes from Bridgewater Junior-Senior High have won tickets to the World Sledge Hockey Challenge.

It’s part of the “Skate a Mile in my Sledge” competition that asked students to create a poster about diversity.

Thirteen year-old Adam Culbert is in one of the winning classes.

He says diversity should be seen as a benefit not something to be made fun of.

“It’s not cool,” he says. “So as long as we all stand up and we all try to not bully, or tease, other people I think we’ll all be okay.”

Culbert says he can’t wait to see Russia take on Korea.

The puck drops at 12 p.m. on Wednesday.
