An overnight house fire in Bridgewater has left 4 people displaced and under the care of the Canadian Red Cross.
Firefighters were called to the scene at around 12:35 a.m. September 5, after a blaze broke out at a rental home on Porter Crescent.
Officials say the fire was contained mostly to the attic area of the house, causing extensive smoke and water damage.
While there were no injuries reported, Canadian Red Cross volunteers have stepped in to provide emergency lodging, food and clothing for the couple and their 17-year-old son.
An international student was also residing in the home and is being cared for by a local sponsor group.
No word at this time on the cause of the fire.
