A nail-biting finish last night at the World Sledge Hockey Challenge.
But in the end, Canada defeated the U.S 3-2 in a shootout.
Defenseman Adam Dixon scored the winning goal.
“It was great to hear the crowd roar,” he says, “and I think that’s what let me know that I got it in ’cause, honestly, I didn’t see it go in.”
Dixon says he feels the team is getting better as the week goes on.
In yesterday’s other game, Korea lost to Russia 5-1.
The semi-finals will see Russia against the U.S at 2 p.m followed by Canada versus Korea at 7 p.m.
