A mother of two from New Canada wants to serve the community within the school board.
Jennifer Hayward has announced her candidacy in District 2, covering the New Germany area.
She has been involved with a number of organizations including the New Germany Elementary Home and School Association.
Hayward has also been a school volunteer and a teacher’s assistant in the classroom, a member of the school advisory council and teacher and superintendent at Epworth United Church Sunday school.
Elizabeth Crossland is the current board member for District 2.
She has not announced if she is reoffering.
