Charges have been laid against a newspaper editor in Liverpool.
Barb McKenna, editor of the Queens County Advance, faces charges of criminal harrassment.
McKenna, who also writes for The Guardian in Charlottetown, was charged following an occurance between January 1, 2015 and June 27, 2016.
She is scheduled to appear at provincial court in Charlottetown on August 29.
The Director of External Communications with TC Transcontinental, Katherine Chartrand, says the matter is being handled by the appropriate authorities.
She says the company is aware of the charges but because it is a personal matter involving an employee, they will not be commenting further.
