A 30 year-old from North Kentville has been charged following a pair of break-ins.
Police say break and enters into two homes were reported in late July in the New Ross area.
A vehicle was also stolen.
RCMP arrested Adam Best last week along Highway 3 in Chester Basin.
He attempted to flee the scene on foot but was caught by police.
Best has been charged with two counts of break, enter and theft, theft of a motor vehicle and resisting arrest.
He was remanded into custody following a court appearance and will return to court in October.
