Highway 103 Crash Causes Death Of Lunenburg County Man

A crash early Saturday evening claimed the life of a Lunenburg County Man.

Lunenburg District RCMP responded to a single-vehicle collision on Highway 103 in Gold River just after 5:00pm.

They discovered a 2018 Honda Ridgeline had left the highway and travelled down an embankment.

The driver, a 77-year-old Lunenburg County man was pronounced deceased at the scene.

A 79-year-old female passenger, also from Lunenburg County, was taken to hospital by EHS with non-life threatening injuries.

Traffic was reduced to one lane for a period of time as an RCMP Collision Analyst attended the scene.

The investigation is continuing.

RCMP say their thoughts are with the victim’s family at this difficult time.
