An unusual accident this morning on Highway 103 near Italy Cross.
Crews were called just before 7 o’clock to a report of a car off the road and on its roof.
Chief Ronald Whynot says when they arrived they found the car but no one inside.
He says contrary to popular belief it isn’t a relief to find no one in the car.
“Well not really,” he says, “because then we don’t know what we’re dealing with. The car could be stolen, or whatever, we don’t know what’s in the car, and we don’t know how the patient is…or patients”
Whynot says crew members searched the nearby woods with no luck.
He says now it will be up to police to solve the mystery.
