Up To 80 Millimetres Of Rain Expected To Fall In Nova Scotia

Nova Scotia is getting a heavy dose of rain over the next two days.

Environment Canada has listed a rainfall warning for Lunenburg, Queens, Shelburne and Yarmouth counties.

The weather agency is suggesting 50 to 80 millimetres of rain could fall today and tomorrow.

However, there is some uncertainty which locations will receive the highest amounts.

Environment Canada says localized flooding is possible in low-lying areas.

Heavy downpours can also cause flash floods and water pooling on roads.
