DesBrisay Museum Honours Soldiers Before Remembrance Day

The DesBrisay Museum is connecting Bridgewater to its fallen soldiers ahead of Remembrance Day.

All this week the Museum is digging into the archives to tell the stories of those who served in the first world war.

Curator Linda Bedford says the profiles come from a 2014 exhibit called Bridgewater Remembers.

She offers some advice to the descendents of the soldiers.

“Talk about them and what they were like before they went off. They were so excited young men, to go over and see the world. And unfortunately, a lot of them didn’t return.”

Bedford says she will be posting a new profile to the DesBrisay Facebook page each day ahead of November 11.
