As winter approaches the race is on to complete road before frost sets in.
The Department of Transportation and Infrastructure will have crews spread throughout Lunenburg County until the end of November.
Drivers can expect lane closures and delays as crews work to re-pave sections of several roads.
Residents around Bluenose Avenue, Blue Jacket Street and Northwind road in Pleasantville will have flag people directing them through.
A section of Upper Branch road from Bridgewater Town line to Evergreen Acres will also be affected.
All road work is expected to be completed by November 30.
