The O’Regan’s Subaru Western Hurricanes split their weekend series in Cape Breton.
Mason Beck scored two goals and added two assists to pace the Hurricanes to a 6-1 win yesterday over the Joneljim Cougars.
Ben Charles also had two goals while Justin Brown and Max Nickerson rounded out the scoring.
The Hurricanes lost 5-4 to the Cougars on Saturday night.
They have a record of three wins, two regulation losses and a shootout loss so far this season.
The major bantam hockey club is back in action this coming Saturday evening when they host the Landworks Gulls in Liverpool.
