Board To Decide Grade 10-12 Students Future At BJSHS

A process that started last October will conclude with a decision by eight school board members.

The review of the Bridgewater and Park View Families of Schools will wrap up tonight.

The school options committee held thirteen meetings between last November and this May.

The 20 person committee has recommended to move grade 10, 11, and 12 students from Bridgewater Junior Senior High School to Park View Education Centre.

Four other recommendations will also be made that involve a catchment area review, facility utilization, operational costs and school grade configurations.

The board will consider information that has been presented and either approve or decline the recommendations.

Tonight’s public meeting begins at 6:30 at Bridgewater Junior Senior High.
