The O’Regan’s Subaru Western Hurricanes doubled the Landworks Gulls 4-2 yesterday in Liverpool. Brendan Amiro and Ben Charles each had two goals. The Hurricanes are back on the ice this morning at 11 to play the All-Credit Auto Rangers at Queens Place Emera Centre.
The Liverpool Privateers skated to a 7-4 victory over the Pictou County Scotians. Logan MacLellan led Liverpool with four points including a hat-trick. The two teams meet again tonight in Pictou.
The Charlie’s Pizza South Shore Mustangs lost their third straight, a 6-2 setback to the Cape Breton West Islanders. They square off again at 1 pm at the Clearwater Seafoods Arena.
