Two people who were arrested following what’s being called an armed robbery in Mahone Bay have been released.
A man and woman were taken into custody shortly following the incident at Kinburn Pharmasave but have been let go without charges.
RCMP Corporal Jennifer Clarke wasn’t able to confirm if the two continue to be suspects or if other leads are being pursued.
“That is information we can’t really get into at this point. The investigation is ongoing.”
Clarke says witnesses report seeing a woman wearing a disguise demand pills from pharmacy workers before taking off in a dark van.
The pharmacy was closed for several hours but was able to re-open Wednesday evening
