The Yarmouth Junior A Mariners won their ninth straight game, 3-0 over the Amherst Ramblers in Truro yesterday at the MHL Showcase.
Aaron Maillet, Matt Warner and Chris Goreham scored, and Brendan Cregan made 26 saves for his first MHL shutout.
Elsewhere, the South Shore Junior A Lumberjacks knocked off the Truro Bearcats.
Samuel Cyr-Ledoux scored late in the third to tie the game before potting the shootout winner in a 4-3 Jacks victory.
Raphael Deslauriers and Logan O’Neil also scored for ‘Jacks.
The Lumberjacks will face the unbeaten Yarmouth Mariners today at 1:30 in Truro.
