For the seventh time in a row Allen Webber has been re-elected as warden of the Municipality of Chester.
The seven councillors selected Webber after being sworn in themselves at their first council meeting this morning.

He says he’s grateful for their trust.
“I think that I have developed the skills over time to bring council together over important issues…and I enjoy it, frankly, or else I wouldn’t do it.”
Webber says the water shortage, upcoming planning review, and Sherbrooke Lake are all top of mind going into the new term.
He says he’s looking forward to tackling those issues, among others, over the next four years.
