Federal employees in the United States are going back to work.
President Donald Trump announced this afternoon a deal has been struck which will once again fund federal operations.
Workers have been off the job for 36 days while the president wrestled with Congress over funding for his promised wall along the Mexican border.
The deal opens government for three weeks until February 15.
The president says employees will receive their back pay as soon as possible.
Trump says he is glad to see Democrats and Republicans put partisanship aside to put the security of the American people first.
