Residents of Bridgewater and area have a chance to tell police how they feel about their service.
The Police Commission, Police Service and Town of Bridgewater have created a survey to gauge the community’s understanding of what they provide and costs.
Chief Scott Feener says it’s a great opportunity for feedback.
“Every couple of years we like to evaluate our level of service and see if there is ways that we can improve and, at the same time, educate the public about how policing changes throughout those years.”
The last survey was conducted in 2016.
“Policing is always evolving and investigations are always changing” says Feener. “With new technology comes new struggles and challenges to keep up to date and provide a level of service that is adequate.”
Feener says results will help the Police Service and Commission in future budget planning decisions.
The survey can be found online through the Town of Bridgewater and Bridgewater Police Facebook and Twitter pages or by clicking here.
It is available to fill-out until the end of the month.
