UPDATE: Charges Laid In Dairy Queen Attempted Robbery

Charges have been laid in relation to the attempted robbery Thursday afternoon at the Bridgewater Dairy Queen.

Bridgewater Police Acting Sgt. Matt Bennett says a Lunenburg County male was arrested shortly after the incident around 1 p.m.

He has been charged with robbery, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and wearing a mask while committing an indictable offence.

The male was brought before a judge this morning and released.

He is due back in court on December 7.
