The Park View Panthers battled hard but came up short in the boys Division 1 provincial soccer final.
Halifax West blanked Park View 3-0 to win their second straight provincial crown.

Panthers Head Coach Dean McDow says it was a hard fought game between two familiar teams.
“We’ve seen Halifax West now four years in a row at a provincial; three finals and a semi-final. It’s been a competitive battle between these two programs.”

McDow says he’s happy his club was able to win a silver medal while hosting the best teams in Nova Scotia.
In other soccer action, New Germany will have two new banners to hang up on Monday.
The Division 2 boys soccer team won provincials, defeating the defending champions from Digby 4-0.
