The heart of Mahone Bay will be on its waterfront.
The Three Churches Foundation will unveil a stone sculpture today at 4 p.m across from Trinity United on Edgewater Street.
The sculpture is called “Heart Loves Mahone Bay,” and was carved in sandstone by Jan Hull of Newburne.
It was donated to the Three Churches Foundation by Margaret and Jerry Trites of Mahone Bay.
A Kindness meter is near the sculpture and picture takers are encouraged to donate to support the foundation.
The Foundation says the sculpture will enhance the streetscape and is consistent with its ‘Love Mahone Bay’ Event, where couples come to the South Shore to initiate or renew marriage vows.
