Old Beach Volleyball Court Getting Spruced Up in Caledonia

A beach volleyball court will be fixed up in North Queens.

The Region of Queens is providing close to $7,400 to spruce up the existing court near the aquatic centre in Caledonia along Route 8.

The decision was made during their council meeting last week in the community.

Mayor David Dagley says they’re happy to help.

“It’s a very active effort to play volleyball. There is a huge need and an interest for recreation in North Queens and we’re proud to be part of that solution.”

Dagley says he’s pleased to see the community asking for the activity in North Queens and feels it will be a great addition.
